Aero Trouble
2 possibilities:
1. Are you using the plastic shims between the aerobar and handlebar? If not, you probably need them.
2. Are the bolts good and tight? If they don't already have loctite (blue stuff) on them, buy some and use it.
Could be something else entirely, but those are my two guesses.
try a stip of plastic or rubber wrapped under the clamps along with the loctite mentioned above
i have the same problem but it comes mostly from the fact that the handlebar shape changes right next to the stem and the clamps don't sit evenly. i'm considering going without bars for my next race to see what it's like...
I would try cutting up a soda can and using those strips as an extra shim.
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

I agree. I tried rubber before in order to cure a similar problem and it allowed the aerobars to shift due to the elastic nature of the rubber, even if its thin.

Yes, and Yes. I am going to try an extra shim next ride. We'll see. Thanks for the help

So I have some airstryke clip-on aero bars, that no matter how tight I clamp them down move when there is too much pressure on the pads, or when I grip hard for a climb.
Ideas?
