I'm happy to say that after completing last weekend's race on a 30 yr old Fuji I will be upgrading to a newer bike! I've been doing the research and been to several stores and think I have it narrowed down to 2 bikes:
They are within the same price range and seem to have mostly the same components, a compact crankset, Shimano 105s etc.
I think the main differences are the brakes (Cannondale C2 vs. Tektro RX 40) and the wheels (Shimano WH-R550 vs. Mavic Aksium).
Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with either model?
The Cannondale has better looks and colors and the welding is beautiful, so that may be the deciding factor. I know wheels and brakes can always be changed down the road.
