Looking for an HRM that I can use for all 3 sports. Other features it should have (as I don't really want to have a separate bike piece) cadence/speed/power meter (any one or combination of them). and GPS (can be lived without).

Thanks in advance.

Polar S625 or 725X is the closest I think you'll get. The bike portions (cadence/power and speed are seperate components but all can be measured on your HRM. Speed and distance while running is done via a foot pod that attaches to your shoe.

I think the Garmin is not water resistant. (please correct me if I´m wrong)

I have a Polar s720i and love it. Water resistant, gives me speed on the bike and cadence.

Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)

Like vanjames said, Polar S625x or S725x. For the S625x, you need to buy speed & cadence sensors separately. For the S725x (make sure it has the "x" and is not just the S725), you need to buy the footpod. Most of the time, the S625x + bike sensors is the cheaper way to go. The Polar Power unit that works with both is reputedly twitchy and unreliable, but is the least expensive on the market.

They don't recommend swimming with the Garmin. I've heard about people putting it in their swim cap and/or a baggie and bring it along on the swim.
