Aaron, I cannot offer you a ride (not doing the race AND I live in PA)... But my son, who is in law school and also 24, and I often travel to our races together. When I saw your post I thought about if it was him in your situation... Here are some thoughts...Contact local triathlon clubs and bike shops. It's a little late in the game, but you might just find someone...especially with the crazy cost of gas...just offer to split a fill up? Good luck! I hope it works out for you!

Hello all,
I'm doing the rockman tri in loves park, IL (rockmantri.com just north of rockford, IL) this weekend (sunday to be precise). I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask about this, but my ride just fell through. I live in Chicago and I'm wondering if anyone's headed to that tri tomorrow (saturday) and could give me and my bike a lift. I'm a good-natured, 24 year old, originally from colorado. I don't smoke (haha, I'm sure that's understood, this being a tri forum and all), who just recived a masters degree and am applying to medical school. Basically, I'll be easy to ride 90 miles with in a car. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
EDIT: I'd be happy to pick up some gas or whatnot
