Ironman Coeur d'Alene 2008
probably - although the beauty of oceanside is you can pretty easily get a slot there so no decisions need to be made a year out if going to oceanside and posting a decent time is a viable option.
Does this mean you'll be doing CDA again next year??

Yes, but not until 2008 :)
oooo, I am thinking about this one next year as well. Nice to see some trifuelrs doing it.

Things have been going well thus far. Flew into Seattle on Tuesday to spend a day with an old friend and then headed over here on Wed. The place is absolutely gorgeous and weather fantastic - low to mid 70s most of the days and they're calling for a high of 67 for race day.
I'll try to keep some updates going, though have to hike to get to the cafe with wireless.
For anyone tracking on ironmanlive.com, the bib number is 342. Looking at about a 7pm finish time if things go really well (pacific time), shooting for between 12-13 otherwise. Will just have to see how the knee holds up ;)

I have several private homes for rent for the Coeur d Alene Ironman in June 2008. Check out my website cdaironlink.com Thanks, Cathleen
I'll be there...hope to meet some of you fellow trifuelers up there!
I've put it in another thread or two, but I also, will be competing in Coeur d'Alene. Very much looking forward to it.
I'm there, too! I'm really looking forward to it; lots of childhood memories in that part of the state. As far as lodging is concerned, probably going to stay with family in Spokane. I just got my mailers from some of the hotels and I'm a bit surprised; it's way too expensive, but people will pay it. A thirty mile drive is worth it to spend 400 dollars LESS a night for that week. I make that drive to work every morning. Anyway, see you there.

Just checking in to see if any other Trifuelers will be up there :)
