Dr. Rios.ec

I almost completly forgot that I had posted here....Just thought I would update.
First...I wanted to comment that my husband is from Ecuador...moved to the states when he was 11....we met in the Marine Corps back in 1990, have been married for 16 years now!

Lots of good advice was given to me....I appreciate all of your encouragement. It would take too long to update all details but in a quick update it seems that many of my symptoms where a manifestation of the extreme stress and depression that was associated with my husbands last deployment to Iraq....and the "circumstances" that were added to an already extremly stressful situation. I just wasn't satisfied with what the Md's were telling me....ie: get used to it....slow down, like forever.....and enjoy what you have accomplished thus far. So I did something New....I started seeing a holistic Dr....who began a much thorough/detailed look into "me". So we changed many diatery things immedietly and went on no excessive pt for some time....basically took a sabatical from triathlon for a time...to allow my body to deal with the stress that was already upon me....and to allow time for the present symptoms to subside. Took some to time to seek out counseling and just have family time and couple time for a while. It seems to have worked...looking back. I also choose to put my three children 15, 14, 12....into public school....we had always homeschooled. I am not sure that it was any one of these choices that made a difference...but rather collectivly they have made a huge difference. It has been a year since I have trained seriously....and that alone causes it's own "mental" issues within me, but I am at a point now where I believe I can begin to step back into my training and regain my fitness (which is all but gone right now)....but I will enjoy watching my body remorph back into a very healthy TriBod!!! Although lifes....stess, continues: My husband is on his way back to Iraq this summer....so I would love to have your support while I inch back into my training, which I'm sure is going to be a challenge to say the least! Never mind a little humiliating to be back so far....after achieving so much!

Thanks to all of you....and I would covet any and all support from here on out...I ran yesterday morning for the first time in many - many months.....but I have and will not give up.

Welcome back...
The first running step you took yesterday was the biggest.

Good to have you back, and good to hear that you're in a much better place :)

We're all always here, and many of us have gone through many aspects of the same.
