cramps

I get side cramps running when I'm not breathing well. Once I feel one starting, I will focus on even breathing -- it helps me to sometimes inhale for 3 steps and then start exhaling as the foot on the same side as the cramp steps down. Or to slow down a little -- I tend to only get them at a higher heart rate.

basically it comes down to dehydration mostly, that and try to smooth out your running stride, the bouncing up and down really agrevates it I think.
