I'm not doing the race but for anyone not familiar with it, the race is an IMC qualifier - usually not more than 500people and they have 25 IMC spots. It rides the hardest (some would say) portion of teh IMC bike course and is good practice for IMC.

Current entry list is at 394 people - 25 IMC spots - can you say good qualifying potential for teh fast guys/gals?

'tis true James. It is a qualifier that is late in the season. The roll down for all age groups is longer/better (better chance to get into IMC) cause Oliver 1/2 and Victoria 1/2 are in June, other IM qualifiers, and many people (speedy people) already have their spots from these.

Outback/Joe and Sarah Dixon do a great Oliver race (I did it last year) with lots o goodies and the whole thing is alot of fun. Great scenery (see here)
