your time savings in the water will be less than the time it takes to get it off. You could just wear the fastskin and skip the tri stuff.

Yes, I have. I had both top and bottoms on underneath. I used it for a half-iron race. I have one with the zipper on the back. The one thing I had to do was to build a strap to be able to unzip it faster upon exiting the water. I used gift wrapping ribbon for the strap, I doubled it up so it would be sturdy enough. I had no problem getting out of it.

this issue was sort of brought up in another thread. has anybody ever wore a speedo fastskin swim skin overa tri top and tri bottom? is it easy to get off like a wetsuit? i have a race coming up in 4 weeks and i'm trying to get it nailed down.
