Ah man, I gotta get up off my lazy butt!

Nice numbers Red. I did catch my dog growling at me the other day though.

Boy, I hear that John. It really was a huge committment which I never really appreciated until it was too late! Looking at these numbers now, I can see why my wife would tell me she missed me when I didn't even go anywhere... :(.

That's exactly why I will never be an Ironman. For me, it's not worth it.

Props to you though Red - I respect and admire that dedication.

Well these are my totals I really don't have the distances in front of me but I have the total hours. These are from Nov 22nd on...

swim
TOTAL 50.5hrs
bike
TOTAL 113.8hrs
run
TOTAL 62.6hrs

Thats the time I logged in the water or on the road and saddle... That's what it takes to do an Ironman for me.

I am almost exactly halfway to IMWI since I started my official training with a coach/plan.

Over the last 4-1/2 months I"ve logged

87 miles swam.
1,600 bike miles.
420 run miles.

Total time 215 hrs.

Most of that time has been through the winter on the trainer/treadmill. So hopefully my second half totals will be more as my plans have been ramping up steadily and weather is nicer out.

My goals are a swim of less than 1 hr (I've been at that level now for some time on the swim).

A bike of 5-1/2 hours (It's a hilly course, I know...but I live and train and am learing to love hills)

Run of 4 hrs.

Lots of variables, but I figure I'm on track with the training and totals.
