I did my first tri last summer and loved it. I was a swimmer in college and needed something to keep in shape and feed my competitive nature. it was only a sprint (i was scared of the run), but i had an awesome time. i totally look forward to doing more this summer. this website is fantastic, people seem to be great with lots of really good information. now that dreary michigan is getting warmer the real training can begin!

welcome to the site, always good to have someone else who loves the sport.

oh yeah! Soon your body will crave it. It will whine at you if you try to sleep in too long on your long run day... it will moan if you sit on the couch when it's the perfect temperature out... it will force you to spend more on running shoes in a year that the average man spends on shoes in a lifetime! :)
