Women's Wetsuits
Check out DeSoto's two piece suits. You order the top and bottom seperately, so that you can have different sizes. This opens up quite a range of sizing that other suits can't offer. Definately no torso issues either.
DeSoto also has one of the best return policies. They are one of the few that let you swim in the wetsuit and return it if you don't like it.
Thanks jeslol. We'll look into 2-piece suits...
In general, do 2-piece suits take longer to get out of?
Not at all. I think they are faster. There's video clip on their website demonstrating. I can get the top completely off and the bottoms rolled past my butt by the time I get to the transition.
Another cool thing is that you can have a sleeves and sleeveless by just buying two tops...which is cheaper than two whole suits.

My wife and I raced in our first triathlon last year. We're hooked! This year, we are racing in 2 sprints and 1 Olympic this summer, followed by a HIM relay in October.
My wife's is pretty lean, and as a result, she gets really cold in the water. Once it gets to a certain point, no amount of swimming will warm her up. While none of our races this year are cold enough for a wetsuit, she's beginning to shop around so we won't be restricted to warm water races down the road. The problem is her size...she has a hard time finding anything in a women's fit. She's tall and slim-figured, but has broad shoulders and lats.
Some quick stats:
6' 0"
145-150lbs
Chest: 37"
Waist: 30"
Hips: 38"
It looks like Orca and Blue Seventy might have a size close to her measurements, but she's concerned that the torso may be too short, stretching the suit between her waist and her shoulders. It's one thing to deal with a suit where the arms and legs are too short, but it can be quite uncomfortable if it is too short in other areas.
We don't live in a city with a large triathlon community, so finding wetsuits to try on in a store is next to impossible, and we'd like to avoid shipping and returning several times until she finds the best size. Although I'm afraid this, or traveling to several large cities, may be the only route to take.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
