Foot numb
Yeah, could be the shoes laced to tight, but how many miles do you have on the shoes? Shoes begin to break down after 500-600 miles and can cause alot of foot and leg problems when that limit is exceded.
Could also be the bike a couple hours earlier, shoes to tight again or if you're just beginning to use small platform pedals that can sometimes be a cause too. Did you do carbs and electrolytes to replenish after the ride?
Try rolling a tennis ball with the soles of your feet before the next time you go out on a run to get the blood circulating, helps to loosen up the feet too.
If it persists though you should definately see a doc.

I don't need to get faster, I just need to get older!
thanks for the advice. I'll give the tennis balls a try.

so I am having all sorts of issues this week.
I just got back from a run and I had to cut it short because both my feet went numb about 3 miles into my run. It started to feel so weird that I had to walk home. I am not sure what it is, my first guess is that my shoes were too tight. I don't see how the shoes would need replacing because they haven't even seen a whole season. My only other guess is that I did a 2 hour ride earlier today, and my body just had enough. Any advice on this would be appreciated.
Sorry for all the issues this week. Bad week of training I guess.
