I'm preparing for my first tri ,its a sprint 750,20k,5k. Its in 2 months. So far my training routine goes like this Day1-2000m swim ,Day2-20k bike,Day3-5k run, Day4-rest or weights. the run is my weakness. Any suggestions on improvement or how to start combining the swim,bike run legs on the same day Thanks for your help:)

Hi Jake --

Welcome to the sport!

From what you have there, I'm not sure if that is per week or a part of a week, or what future/past weeks were like and what your background is, so I'm just going to give some basic ideas:

If the run is your weakness, run more.

Aim for 3 workouts per sport per week -- although I know with life that can be hard to hit! That's just a general guideline... if you know your run is your limiter, make sure you are consistent with it. If you are a strong swimmer, perhaps go to 2 swims (although that gets tough since you have to keep the feel of the water).

For 2-a-day just pick 2 workouts and either do them back to back, or one morning and one evening. If you have one that is the focus of the day, make sure it is first.

And then you should look around on here as many similar issues have long discussions :)
