Congrats on your day yesterday! Unfortunately you can't really train for wind unless you live in a windy area.
Way to stick with it and become your dream!

The Battle does not always go to the stronger or faster man,
Because sooner or later the man that wins
Is the man that thinks he can.
Congrats again on becoming Iron :) Rest up and we'll see you out there again soon!

Good job Ironman and congratulations. This thread got me to thinking. Tribro, have you ever thought of having a page here on Trifuel, like a Trifueler's Ironman Hall of Fame, listing those who have completed an Ironman(s), their race, year, times, etc? Anyone who finishes gets their name, and info on the wall. Just a thought. Anyways, once again congrats Jstyle.

Well let me just start by saying I have always respected and prized the knowledge that is shared on this board. Whether some of you realize it this is the best tool out there for young athlete's like me... I use the word young very loosely :)
As we all know I did IM AZ yesterday and finished. I was looking for a sub 13 but that just wasn't in the cards for Josh on that day (damn you wind :) ). Let me just caveat that by saying I couldn't care in the least a finish and hearing Mike Reilly calling my name is all that matters to me. I can now wear the M dot with a soul full of pride and accomplishment.
Well from my IM experience I have learned one thing (well several things but this is the most important.) The IM world is like a family. Even more then that the Trifuel world is like a close family I thank God for bring us together with out him and Tribro I wouldn't have made it to the starting line with out your kind and encouraging words. I see you all as family and you are welcome to my place any time you all are in the DC area no questions asked. Anytime for any reason you guys are all welcome to anything thank you so much for everything you all have given me.
