IMAZ Update!

Met up with Libor on Thursday after the 7:00am swim. He hung out with me and my mother for a while. Great to finally meet him!
Josh arrived yesterday and I had a chance to see him and Libor at the athlete dinner and meeting. Josh took a pic, so maybe he'll see this and post it. I met him again this morning at bike drop off.
The weather is looking choice! Clear skies, mild temps and relatively mild winds until later in the day Sunday. Team Trifuel looks ready...even Josh had left uncertainty on the plane and is ready to throw down. He looked like this when he first arrived- Now he's

Ya, Josh is ready to rock. As are you! Looks like a nice day. If Josh doesn't post the pics I will cause I have some taken as well of the three of us at the dinner last night. Unfortunately it will have to be after I get home. Hey, I missed you at the bike drop off. Saw Josh. Let's get this frikin' thing over with! I am SOOOOO ready to do it. Good luck to all the trifuelers!

ROCK ON GUYS!!!!

WOW way to go Bryan!

Bryan came in 4th in his age group. Can you say Hawaii! :D

Right on! Way to go Bryan!

Wow, that's smokin! Way to go Bryan!!

Thank you everyone. :) I still am in shock considering I had a flat on the bike and it was so windy. I'll compose my thoughts and post a full report.
I'm going to Hawaii to compete at a race my mother did 4 times, she is my inspiration.

Congrats Bryan, great day!

Congrats Bryan!

I'm worried about our boy.
The swim went according to plan. The bike split looks okay, but I fear Libor has had a mishap on the run. I think he was trained to break 4 hours and he has run nearly 5 hours. A muscle pull? Gut problems? A blister?
I think he would run over blazing coals to podium if he could. He was training for it, a high placing I mean, not the burning coals.
He had an ankle problem during his last half IM last season, I dunno.
Anyway, great effort guys, all round. Bravo!

That's what I was thinking too. I know he trained hard for the run. Something must've happened to him. At least he finished!

Very proud!

Many congrats : ) Pure awesomness.

Go Libor!!

Bryan,

You are a stud. That is an awesome day....a flat on the bike and a 5:05 bike split??!!!! Great bike and great race.

Nice job everyone :) Congrats!

Great job guys. Bryan, congrats on meeting your goal. I'm sure you mom is proud.

Congrats to all the Trifuelers!!!

Thanks for following all. It's great to have such a supposrtive community. And congrats to all that finished. Bryan dude, you rock!

Yes. I had a bad time on the bike. Winds were like 50mph on the last loop. Popped a front tire, got caught on the strong wind gust right after it happened and crashed into an orange pylon. Hurt my hip and really pushed to get back. Started the run but it hurt alot. Just grunted the run out on a sore hip and then I threw up after the first lap. Mental went down and so, my run sucked. I was all set to go for my goal except for the probs. I'll write a race report as soon as I get home. I finished though. That's the Ironman. Really a flavour of the day.

Thanks for the support crew!

I kept checking in to watch you all yesterday...and YOU ROCKED! What fun to (virtually) be there cheering you on and watching as you crossed the finish line! Tirfuel has some kick-@$$ IRONMEN!!!! CONGRATS!

Ironman and an Iron finish is what it is!...Congrats to all..wonderful times and dreams realized....you guys rock.

Red5...now remember, in your race report I expect to see:
"I got a little cooked, but I'm ok."...better yet save that for the Kona race report!

Congrats to all you guys! I'm a little surprised how proud I feel because of your accomplishments - I almost feel like I DID something yesterday! :)

fittycent I´m sure all Trifuelers are thankfull for what you did! It´s all about people like you willing to help out.

Congratulations to all IRONMEN.

And Red5, man I´m in shock! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
