Ok, I admit it, this is a shameless promotion of an article on my website. But it's not an article that I wrote. A friend of mine decided he wanted to write an article for me, and it came out fantastic. I decided to break it down into 3 parts because there is a lot to absorb. He has a lot more experience than I do at bike riding/racing, and it shows in his attention to detail.
SO I wanted to share it with you all here. I learned a lot from it, and it will increase my awareness of body positioning as it relates to my handling skills. Part 1 is primarily on equipment, mainly tires, tire inspection, tire pressure and your bodyweight balance on teh bike...and how it applies to cornering skills.
