Very true - a lot of people were surprised to see her do so well but I honestly wasn't. I'd seen her race before and had a feeling she was on her way to the top.
She also told us she'll pretty much lay off bike training after Kona this year to get ready for the Olympic marathon trials. It'll be interesting to see how she does with that.

I've removed this pic, and my previous post, as I'm no longer proud of it. I still admire her talent, work ethic, and achievements in the sport, and I still think she's a nice girl, but I'm disappointed in her decision to cheapen herself and pollute this sport by posing for an erotic cover photo.
