usatriathlon.org has some info about startng clubs. helped start a club in our area way back when and don't recall any special insurance we needed. need $ for speakers and renting halls as well as perks like hats, race belts given to members as schwag as well as $ for the website

I was just wondering if I can get any info on starting a new tri club, what is involved cost ideas and what insurance if any we would need. I live in northwest NJ and we are lacking any formal or credible clubs we have many members in my local Y with interest and I seem to be the go to guy to get the ball rolling any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
