Right now I have a mini carbon pump, but I still think it is too big for racing and would like to try a CO2 system. For one it would be off of my frame and tucked neatly in a bag. I have never used one though.

What do you recomend that will inflate my tire to the 120psi that it requires?

Most bike shops carry CO2 inflators and cartridges. the 16g cartridge will inflate to 125psi so no worries there. They are usually small enough to put in your seat pack or some even attach to behind the seat drink systems (xlab )

Right now I'm using this CO2 system, and so far I really like it. It has a hole in the bottom so you can keep one CO2 inside it (upside down so not opened yet) to save some room in your bike bag. It also will hold a bit of CO2 that is left over for a little while, which can be helpful.

I tend to use the smaller 12oz cartridges. While they don't get the tire as full, they are soooo much cheaper since you can get them at places like Walmart (a 25 pack is about $10 I think). They get the tire full enough for me.

If price is no concern and size is the main factor, check out something like the pumps that are basically just a top you screw onto the wheel and then screw in the cartridge (like this). I tried one the other day and it worked really well. The only thing for me is that it requires threaded cartridges which I tend not to have. I might grab one for racing though.

I ordered the real little one when I ordered tires for my new Zipps. I was worried that it would only put out 60psi, but now I see that it will inflate to 130psi, which is more than enough. Thank you for the advice.
