Where can I get a pair of speed laces or whatever you call them for my running shoes? Any particular brand you guys like. I have no experience with them so any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

Usually any running shop should sell them. I use Yankz which are elasticized. Once you lace'em up so that your feet are snug and comfortable you're ready to slip 'em on and go in transition.

I like Yankz as well for racing but have found that the pressure on my forefoot fom the elastic causes me a little pain. I change them out for training...

i use those cheapy lace locks - no need to change out your laces, just put them on the end and lock em down to tighten

I prefer Speed Laces to Yankz. Yankz are more commonly available in running stores, but they complicate something that doesnt need to be complicated. For some reason, there's TWO retaining devices in their design.
For my first season, I actually just went to craft store and bought elastic and a slide lock. I think I spent $3.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

I use Yankz and love them. I had the same problem originally (caused the foot to fall asleep sometimes, too), but later realized that I just had the things a bit too tight. Once I loosened them up a bit, I never had trouble again.
