Hydration Level
The jury is still out on how accurate those scales are...any input from another trifuler?
I still think the best way to guage hydration is to weigh daily in the A.M. after going to the bathroom...if you have been consistantly weighing yourself over time you should have a good idea of how much you weigh (it will be a ballpark figure.) A morning weigh in with a significant drop of several pounds over the previous day means...drink!
Another method is to weigh pre and post workout... I do that in the depths of summer...I often go out the door for long stuff at 165 and come back in at 158 or less (high sweat rate)... Just make sure I'm back up to normal before the next big workout.

We just got a new scale with body fat and body water functions. It’s not a Tantia because I got it through my work "points system" (little rewards for being good ;) ) It has 4 fitness levels and sounds like it’s a good unit -- made by Conair and retails for $85.
One of the functions is Body water percentage? Is this something I should use to gauge my hydration? If so, what is good before a training session? After my training session this am (though I consumed a full bottle during the session and a smoothie afterwards) it read 65% was Body Water? Good, bad, normal???: confused:
