I know there are a couple of you on here that go there. Ill be transferring in the Fall. How's the team, coaches, workouts, etc?

I just had knee surgery last week, but I'll be back to training in a few weeks and I'm really looking forward to getting back into training and training with a/the team.

I've heard the housing is pretty bad. True? Any ideas of where to live?

Make yourselves known.

SLO baby!!

I graduated from SLO in 2003, so I can't be of much help with the current housing situation. My old landlord's name was Henrik Nielsen (or a variation of spelling on the last name) and he owned numerous properties in the area. Look up his name, call him up, and tell him that you got referred to him by an old tenant of "146 Stenner." He was a decent and fair landlord. I got lucky with my apartments, but if you wait much longer than Spring to find a place, finding housing will be a massive PITA.

I was a Wheelmen, not a tri club member. After 5 years in SLO though, I can tell you that both work and play hard.

The road riding in SLO can't be beaten.

If you have anymore questions, feel free to shoot me a pm or reply. I freakin LOVE that area.

Thanks for the tips, reflux.

I've heard there isn't much on campus housing and I really don't know where to go from there, so that reference is a good one.

I'm super excited to go up to SLO, I've heard nothing but good things....
