Freecycle?
Some people started somethin g similar here in Guatemala based on a kids tri we witnessed last year in somewhat poor section of the country.
So if I give any of my stuff away I guess i would give it here in my country where it's more needed :D
Triathletes helping triathletes (or wannabe triathletes in many cases).
Congratulations Anton for bringing this theme up.
Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)
The tricky part is when it involves shipping things. I guess I'd be interested locally, but I'm not sure if I'd ever make it to the post office...
Thanks Tikal...We have a program up here "Bikes for the World" where you can donate bikes that are sent to areas of the world where the folks need transportation. I try to fix a couple a year to send...
Kyilee...local or far away, it doesn't matter. Whatever you are comfortable with...If it helps someone, I wouldn't mind eating a third class shipping fee. Maybe we can make this sport seem a little more egalitarian by helping others ,not so lucky, get involved.

Oh it's not the price of shipping that bugs me, it's just that I seem to have a hard time actually getting to a post office while it is mailed. That said, I'm still interested. There are aerobars sitting in my garage still... ;)
count me in. great idea.

Would anyone out there be interested in Freecycleing Tri related stuff? (No pun intended by the way.)
If you're like me you have boxes of bike parts, aerobars you hate
swim stuff that you are tired of using...
If you are not familiar with Freecycle...it's just that. Recycling stuff you don't use anymore by passing it on to someone who needs it.
Free.
Any thoughts?
