New to the forum. Hello and opinions about 2005 QR Caliente
I bought the same bike a year ago and it's a great bike. The only thing I should mention are some initial problems with the front derailleur that did not always stay in place when shifting gears. There is a thread on this somewhere on this forum (probably search for Caliente). I had to make a small plastic washer to get the derailleur in the correct position and make it stay in place while shifting. Someone else in that thread said QR or his bike shop had already fixed it - so it could be that this is not a problem for you.
Of course if you want to race world records - and spend some extra money - there are some things you could change: replace tires and tubes with some lighter ones. The aerobars could become carbon fiber, but there it starts getting really expensive.
Thanks for the feedback. I am super stoked to get out ride my new bike. It is still at the dealer, so I will ask him about the front derailer issue.
I also have a friend who is going to sell me his Carbon Vision Aero Bars from his 06 Caliente to put on this bike. He changed his aero bars to a different set. Should be sweet.

I just purchased a new 2005 QR Caliente and was wondering if anyone out here has any experience with bike. I would love to hear about it. My local bike shop still had some in stock and sold me one at a price I could not turn down. Thanks and take it easy.
