Hydrate!

Just a little PSA: Be sure to hydrate immediately following waking up.

I made the mistake this morning thinking that a quick swig of water before heading out on an easy 5mile run would be fine. From the start I had trouble keeping a low HR, especially at the pace I was holding. About 20minutes in to it I had to stop at a local market for a few minutes to drink a couple glasses of water. I felt all dizzy, out of my body and started seeing stars. So, in case you want to make your workouts more enjoyable, be sure to hydrate once you wake up. It'll keep everything lubricated, smooth and flowing.

*takes a drink*

my waterbottle agrees, and askes that hydration is consistent (and good) throughout the day. I tend to forget for a while and then drink a bunch, and it really works better for me if I just sip from a waterbottle throughout the day.

I keep a water bottle by the bed - so if get up during the night or when get up for the morning workout the water is right there to begin rehydrating.

me three. I keep them pretty much everywhere... I have bedside, work, and car ones. I actually got waterbottles for birthday/xmas last year from at least 3 or 4 different people since they are such a part of my accessorizing :)

Especially now! Here in the Mid Atlantic we've gone from winter to June in one fell swoop! I hydrate pretty well but had a bit of a thirst running in 75 degrees today after weeks of cold...
