Hi i am currently looking to buy a tri bike. my goal is to find a nice bike for under $2,000.

some of the bikes i am considering now are

1. trek epuinox 9 msrp 2400
2. felt s22 2000
3. cervelo dual ultegra 1600
4. orbea aletta 1800

Personally i like the trek the best, It has a really sweet frame, but it costs more then i want to spend.

I like the s22 because of the carbon seatstays, the ultegra and dura ace mix and the frame looks pretty aero.

I like the low cost and bang for your buck that comes with the dual. however I'm not sure how solid of a bike it is and how aero it is.

lastly i like the aletta because it seems like a pretty good deal. I like the paint job on the aletta, it also has the carbon seat stays too.

so far ive tried reading different reviews on these bikes but the problem i am running into is that all of the reviews just say good things about these bikes. i dont get a side by side comparison.

I would also consider adding the Planet-X Stealth Pro Carbon to your list. It is a top notch bike and the price is tough to beat if you are looking for an all carbon, super low profile bike.

Of couse the others you mentioned are all also excellent choices and you can not go wrong with any of them.

Best of luck!

Theyre all good bikes, so youre not gonna find much negative.

I will say that carbon seatstays are more of a gimmick than anything else, they dont do much at all to dampen vibration.

But just ride them all and buy the one you like the most.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

sorry the frame is a small you would most likely need a med, or large

3. cervelo dual ultegra 1600

I bought the DA for 1800 and it's friggin awesome. Solid, quiet and FAST.
