Hello everyone. I just thought it would be cool for people to share their favorite recipes for smoothies and protein shakes. It would be nice to have some variety for smoothies after those long hard workouts.

Mine
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
.5 scoop Delicious Greens 8000 (good stuff)
1 Frozen Banana (I cut it up because my blender sucks)
BCAA's
Water (or Non-fat milk)

Sounds delicious... I think I'll have one right now

A company called BSN makes a protein powder called Lean Dessert Protein. The Banana Nut flavor made with skim milk is incredible. Trust me. I was a competitive bodybuilder for many years, and we know our protein shakes.

But only if you've spent the last few years building up an immunity to it;)

I just watched that movie last night, with a friend who'd never seen it (inconceivable!)

I do the Rocky Balboa approach: raw eggs. But only because we have our own chickens and they are very, very fresh. So my fave is:

1 raw egg
Frozen peaches
Milk
drop of almond flavoring

Yummmm, it's like peach-almond ice cream.

I just started making smoothies again too:

16 oz cold water
1/2 serving of chocolate Heavyweight Gainer 900 (best tasting weight gainer, period)
1 banana (refrigerated)
2 raw eggs (also refrigerated)

...tastes like a Frosty...with a banana in it.
