I just got my first tri-bike today. It is an aluminum Elite Magnus with Shimano whosits and carbon fiber whatsits. I gotta say the handling will take a bit of getting used to but is other wise very comfortable. I spent 2 hours with the good folks at Speedy Reedy in Seattle getting the fit just right. They even took a hacksaw to the handle bar dealies. I have to give this shop 2 thumbs up! They sold the bike to me for 50% off because the color was not popular (metalic avacodo green, which I acually like because my first car was the same color). Now I need to get some stretchy short pants and shoes that make one walk like a duck and I will be all set.

Tri bikes aren't exactly known for their handling capabilities, but man is it fun to tuck and just haul! Welcome to the world of stretchy short pants.

Congrats! But where are the pics? You cant claim to have bought a new bike and not show it to us!

Elite makes great bikes, you made a good choice! Enjoy it.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
