Does any one here ride out of the Aero bars???
I wish I could ride in the aero bars all the time, like Natasha - she has nothing but aerobars on her bike.
Maybe the w/o description refers to relaxing time, sit up on the brake hoods and get ready for the next interval?
Maybe it refers to a period out of the saddle as in climbing or to let sensation return to your crotch!

Riding long rides in aero position for a long time is hard on your body, specifically your back. Sitting up once in a while to stretch is a good idea. Also, for some who have bellies, it hard to stay in areo for a long time. That was my problem last year. Not now and I'm loving it!
I ride in areo almost constantly, except for obvious braking and the really steep climbs. I am most comfortable in areo as opposed to up on the hoods.
It is good though to occassionally shift around.

Ok I know if you are in a group ride or in a wickedly bending course there are reasons, but does anyone not ride in the aero bars sometimes?
The reason I ask is because my training plan keeps emphasizing aero time "stay aero for 40 minutes out of 60." I thought every one always rode aero all the time unless they needed the brakes or were up a vicious climb. Even on most of the climbs I use the aero just to stay used to it. Am I weird or something (IN RELATION TO THIS AT LEAST :) )?
