interesting sprint
That is pretty cool and not a bad sprinting pace either...
Happened to me on a run yesterday ... dog came running out of the woods and I turned and bolted up the road, was doing a 5:00 pace per my Garmin and it was pitch black out side..... afterwards, I told my wife that I bet we could get some tough dogs and offer 'Interval encouragement" services, as I would never be able to sprint like that with out the "stimuli"
yeah if that doesnt get your legs working i dunno what will. that dog was so fast i would have betted on it in a race!

That's funny I had the same thing happen to me and it was a tempo work out so I was already tired. I was running way out in the country and there was a pack of german sheppards. They ran up to me full blast and stopped about 10 feet short if that. I was like oh damn this is gonna suck pretty hard.
They funny thing is until about the last year I have had no fear of dogs at all. Nothing happened to me special but now I get nervous when I am running and I see loose dogs...

well i was nearing the end of my 2 hour ride, when a crazy desert dog bolted out of an alleyway and started runnaing at me barking. it looked pretty scaryso i started to accelerate, until i was goin flat out with this dog chasing my @$$! It lasted about 2 miniutes, and it must have looked pretty wierd to an onlooker, seeing some guy in his lycra doin 45k down a street being chased by a dog! Oh well good sprint workout if nothing else!
thought id share the experience!
