I am about to finish up a tub of protein that I take post work out. While my mom was out shopping she picked me up a tub of protein (how nice :) ). I was looking at the nutritional information on the back of the tub and it said that it contains %29 of my daily recommended cholesterol per scoop! My old protein that I was about to finish had only %2 per scoop. And get this, my younger brothers older protein contained %75!!!
This struck me as very poor quality stuff and I am considering returning it.
Am I over reacting? I mean I don't eat chips, bacon, and other fried foods. I still need cholesterol don't I?

Does it give a break down of LDL vs.HDL Cholestrol? We all need some CH in our diets...the problem is ...what kind are you getting?
If you are not comfortable with it..return it or contact the company and see if they can tell you the break down. While your are young it never too early to keep an eye on your CH and to make sure you are getting the right kind.

I think that you are overreacting. I took a nutrition/biochem class in high school and I learned that the biggest source of cholesterol in the body is not from eating cholesterol, but from eating saturated fat. So, I wouldn't worry about it. It probably has a negligible effect on your cholesterol level and whatever effect it has is probably more than cancelled out by the exercise you do and the protein helps you recover... Don't worry about it. I'm not sure that there is actually any scientific evidence that shows that eating cholesterol causes high blood cholesterol levels, but saturated fat definitely does.
