thank you guys and gals
Just keep it up. I love the feeling when i make a stroke correction and i feel really fast. You just need to make sure and do the same thing for the next couple weeks in order to make it stick. Good luck!
It's all about the aha moments, that's what keeps us comin' back for more.
Congrats and continued luck with the training.

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
One cool thing about swimming is that they keep coming up with different things that are "in" for being fast, so there's always something new to try. A few years back I had a coach completely overhaul my freestyle. I thought that I was on the top of my game as it was, and then I made huge changes to my stroke and got faster. My point is, you're going to keep having those "clicking" moments for years....it's fun.

Not fast enough.

I went swimming again today. After about two weeks of swimming nearly every day, I finally get it. Something clicked today. I have read through the Total Immersion book. A lot of it made sense and I did most of the drills. Some of them I didnt understand. So I just applied what I understood about the technique and what I did in the drills to my stroke. Something today clicked and I got it. I understood about power coming from rotating the body. I swam so much faster. It was really cool. Thats all. I just wanted to express that because I was so excited. Also, thanks to everyone who has responded to my threads.
