After having my bike totaled in a car wreck (I was hit, not the other way around) I'm in the market for a new one!

It's been since July that I was on the road and now that I can finally get back on a bike, I'm in the market. In shopping around, I've had the Trek Equinox 9 recommended to me.

Anyone have any experience with one of these? The price is right at about my limit (~$2500) and the specs look pretty great. But, I thought I'd check with some of you and get the real reviews.

Thanks,

Armour

Can't go wrong with a Trek. I'd ride it and make sure and get a fit. Also, check out some of the other threads in this section around bikes ... seems like a lot of folks are/werein the market for a bike at the $2500 price point....must be bonus season :)

Trek is solid (I have ridden them in the past) but you might want to consider a Plant-X Stealth Pro Carbon. Great price and loaded with everything you need! Just do a search and you will find plenty of info about this bike. Also their customer service is awesome which makes the whole buying experience very easy.

mdd and I are biased but I just got my PX, and it is building now, and I can't wait to get on it... soooo hott. And right at your $2500 point :)
