The updated course changes for the 2007 Ford Ironman Coeur d’Alene triathlon have been posted on event's website. The 112 mile Bike course and 26.2 mile Run course maps have been updated as of February 11th, 2007.
The city of Hayden Lake recently signed off on a proposal which means the bike course will pass through there instead of heading East out to Post Falls. By no means will the 2 loop bike course be any easier on the contrary it appears that it will offer athletes’ a nice challenge with the much hillier course and a total combined climb of about 400 feet or more.
Haven't seen the formal announcement, not sure if it has been emailed out yet either.
I posted this on my blog today at trijuice.com
