Anyone ever worked with a coach for a full season and then switched the next season? If so why?
I had a good experience with my coach last season, but it was the first time I ever worked with a coach, and so I didn’t really have any benchmarks with which to measure the quality of the program and the overall experience. I also didn’t really shop around for a coach, I just sort of signed up with the first one I talked to. I’m going to talk to another coach today to get a sense of his approach, philosophy, etc. just to see if I can discern a difference. But even if I do see a difference I wonder if I would ultimately find more success with some continuity between last season and this season.
If there are specific tips on the key points of comparison that I should use in my decision I’d appreciate your sharing them.
I don’t want to just switch for the sake of switching, and it isn’t as if I had a bad experience last year, on the contrary. So maybe I shouldn’t have even gone down this path. On the other hand I guess I might learn something.
