Thanks for the link. I sent my wife an early Valentine's card this morning and she loved it.

That's awesome Tikal. I wish I could get my hubby to do some tri's with me. He did one, but it's not his thing. We do a few running events together every now and then and that's fun, but otherwise he crews my cheering section (what a guy, off to send him a valentine now!).

Funny story (nobody asked but here it goes....)

We had a very different lifestyle before, had a good couple of pounds of overweight had bad eating habits etc. We started by buying ourselves Mountain Bikes but continued with the bad eating habits.

One night during a party (and don’t remember how many beers) she said to me. "I don’t know if I really like this MTB thing, I have always pictured myself on a road bike" "I would love to do an IM someday!" And I said: "what!!!!!?????"

We had tried a couple of months before that party a triathlon. We did it as a really team. Each one doing the bike for his team.

And...I don’t know exactly what happened but here I am into my 2nd year of tri racing and dreaming of my first IM. It will come around 2009 I think because I had to lay back things a bit in order to finish college this year. (I had a few classes I never finished and wanted to close some chapters in my life. So 1/2 IM is scheduled for 2008 and IM is planned for 2009)

Oh come on Anton gimme some credit :)

Seriously I wouldn't have stayed married for this long. It was nice this morning we both slept in because of all of the snow we are getting around here. Well I made her breakfast gave her some Godiva and ground up and did a fresh brew of her favorite coffee Caribou, and gave her some gifts and stuff. She isn't a big flowers girl :) So I guess I am lucky there. You know what for her to be as understanding as she is with my Tri habit she deserves a lot.

Happy Vday everyone... Treat your sig-others WELL.
