used mine for the first time yesterday in a cycle class at the gym!

i noticed a big difference right away, it was pretty cool. those stiff soles really change things. took a little bit to get em clamped in though, such a noob...

Such a good idea to learn the art of clipping in and out on a stationary bike. Once you're out on the road, you only have to master the skill of knowing when to clip out (answer: a few seconds before you fall).

My first clipless pedals were on a MTB. I took a couple pretty good low-speed spills during the learning phase.

you're telling me! i know i would've fallen a handful of times right out of the gate!

i'm just thankful the bikes there have clipless pedals.

I just got a new set of pedals (shimano look style) to replace my old "time" pedals. Now my time's were easy to get out of but my looks make me nervous. I haven't had a chance to hit the road yet only massive hours on the trainer so we will see if J hits the ground his first time out in the real world.
