Just out of curiosity, is anyone doing this race next weekend? I'll be giving it a whirl and just hope to finish with my fingers and toes intact and my ego not too badly bruised*.

* I live in the desert with little to no access to snow. My two attempts at cross country skiing have been quite unspectactular.:o

Yeah baby, I'm there! I will be participating in the event. Notice I said nothing about racing it :) My poor bike hasn't been off the trainer since hmmmm....November?

I'm just happy they have more than enough snow this year. Last year it was a killer duathlon.

Yikes. Nice how they wait till the end of the description to say that the race is only half over at the top.

Jeslol,

Hope to see you there. This will be my first crack as a soloist and I have absolutely no plans of racing it. Just want to learn the course and survive the mountain. My knees are jacked up from a run last week so I'm hoping to be able to make the run portion a run and not an extended hike. :)
