Ya baby! Awesome man. Really feel your passion and excitement for the sport. We all need to go out an have a great workout and be focused in our goals, but remember to stay in your zones ;)
YES!! ! Thanks for the inspiration.
......You go through everday thinking about the next days training session. Maybe even trying to figure out a way out of it. Our friends think we are crazy and our family is asking "why do you do all this?"......
Right on. That says it all. We are crazy.

Who are you calling crazy?
I resemble that remark! :D
Right on. That says it all. We are crazy.
what if i told you crazy was working long hours and never tasting success or achievement. Eating fast food everyday and getting tired at the thought of breaking a sweat, literally destroying your body. Thats 80% of the population, and that was me 3 years ago. I think there crazy NOT to be involved in this sport. i have lived on both sides of the fence and I truly believe triathlon has changed my life.
Speed Kills. Strength Punishes
it's all relative huh?
And yes Beads you do resemble that remark, so do I though HA!

Yep real men shave and use lycra.:p
Talking about crazy..... This sport really made me crazy. I went with the wife last weekend to a lake where every year they have an open water swim from one side of the lake to the other (8Km{5mi}). We were using the 2 days of rest our training plan scheduled for last week. We were supposed to be on a "relaxing" plan and I couldn’t stop thinking how much I wanted to do that long open water swim one day. And THEN it hit me! I´m crazy and I can´t do much about it but enjoy!:o

Sometimes I wonder to myself why do we train for these crazy events? The training is long, tiring, stressful, and mentally tough. You go through everday thinking about the next days training session. Maybe even trying to figure out a way out of it. Our friends think we are crazy and our family is asking "why do you do all this?" But, right when all these negative thoughts are coming into the head, I find myself hoping on my bike, or jumping into the pool, or lacing up my running shoes and heading out. ****, I love this stuff! I love the feeling of achievement after each workout, the satisfaction of accomplishing a 100 mile ride, or a 25 mile run, or like some of you out there an Ironman.
This is our LIFE! This is our challenge! This is our PASSION! Each day when those negative thoughts come into the head, remember why you are doing this. Expect tough workouts, expect pain, expect mental roller coasters, but expect SUCCESS. Stay driven each workout, tell yourself to go harder, and tell yourself you can and you will finish! There is no other choice!
Today's workout, make it a great one. Push even harder than normal and ENJOY it! Erase all of the doubt that is in your head and go out and accomplish every goal you set you mind to!
