Insole or Heel lift?
Anton posted 1 year ago.
My right leg is significantly shorter than my left. I caught it back in the late 70's before any real damage was done.
Had orthotics for many years to equalize my legs even though I have a neutral foot. Finally my podiatrist (sp?) said "Look ...here is a much cheaper way to fix your problem." and put me onto a gel heel lift in my right shoe. Have been using them alone now for the last 4 years for a total of about 10,000 miles. No problem.
Check with a doc and tinker.

Some of you have been helping with my tight hamstring (Thanks!). My right leg is shorter than my left, and a couple years ago I was told by a running store owner that a heel lift would help. So I've been using one in my right shoe. But I was thinking this morning...would it be better to use an insole to elevate my entire foot, instead of just my heel? Maybe just lifting the heel is causing some of my right hammy and past calf problems. What do you think?
