A K-9 cop, too?! I LOVE German Shepherds. My parents have one and she is the coolest dog.

Thanks guys, yeah, I love my Shepherd. Down here a few years back they had a duathlon that you did with your dog, and they called it a dog-du. It was a swim and a run. Fun stuff. Thanks again for the welcome. Gary

Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster, thought I'd finally make the plunge. My name is Gary. Gus is my German Shepherd. I am a 43 y/o Police Officer. I can't believe all the information on this site, got some of my own I'd like to start contributing. I race clydesdale, my favorite race distance is olympic. Never done anything longer, although I did finish the Disney marathon several years ago. I've been bodybuilding and doing tri's for 20 years (how come there's never any protein at the post race party?)
