Group Logs and Google Cal
Kudos TriFuel (and supporters) on a killer training log tool!Just wanted to know if there is any way we could get the calendar to interface with other applications like Google Cal and/or Microsoft Outlook (or Entourage for Mac.) Our club produces a comprehensive events list via Google Cal and it would be GREAT to be able to import that into my log.
Also is there/could there be some way for a group to have a community training log (or a series of linked individual logs) so we could have a coach write a program for a team and post the goals, events, calendar and such and have individuals post thier participation?
Thanks all!!!
The group features is being worked on for the next version of the log. My vision is that users would have the ability to join groups. Members of the groups can view the training for each other and there will be a summary for the group. Members of the group may be able to leave comments about each others workouts.
I'm also working on improving the coaching support for the next version (it is non existent now). Coaches will be able to define goals for their clients and groups.
The calendar import idea is a good one. Can you send me the link to your club's calendar and I'll look into the import feature.
It is going to take me a couple of months to get the next generation of the training log written (unless someone wants to pay for about 2-3 weeks worth of full time work ;-) )

Roger,
Thanks for the response! Sounds like you're headed in the direction we were looking for. I'm finishing up our '07 calendar now and can send you a link shortly if you want to experiment with it.
Just out of curiosity, how much would "2-3 weeks of full time work" cost? Roughly?

I would be happy to try to integrate the calendar import feature. Send me the link when you have it ready.
I sent you a PM with the weekly rate ;-)
