We tried to schedule this race so it would fit in with the other great races in the west, like Vineman. We also wanted our race on the July 4th holiday weekend because Midway UT and the other Heber Valley towns go all out on their celebrations. Many people know Utah for it's winter sports, but we'd like to show you that Utah has many great summer time activities. I can also guarantee you that this race is one of the most scenic and beautiful you will ever do. Take a look at some of our course pictures to see why. http://www.bamtriathlon.com/course.html
Also, Midway UT is only a short 45min drive from the Salt Lake International Airport, so you can litterally fly from anywhere in the nation and be in Midway by noon the day of registration and get home for work on Monday. This is the same reason why people love to choose Utah as a quick weekend ski trip.
