Thanks for the info. It seems that 70-72 seems to be the breaking point for wearing a setsuit...the same temp the gulf is supposed to be in April! I think I'll keep an eye out for a deal, but if one doesn't show itself, I'll go without.
I just signed up for the Emerald Coast Triathlon Series Race #1 (April 21st). This will be my first triathlon!

I was planning on getting by without a wetsuit. It's a 1/3 mile swim. Should I have any problems with cold water at that point? What's the temperature in the gulf that time of year?
