Thoughts: Light wheels or aero wheels
Aero, Aero, Aero.
Aero for sure. Then you can cut through the wind like UF through OSU...
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
How bout light and aero? Get the best that you can afford. Wheels play a significant role in any given bike performance. Training is always handy too. Then there's that whole thing about losing that extra body fat, but I don't know... ;)
404s are pretty light as it is. The weight is a non-issue on a flat course anyway. They're TONS better to race on than Ksyriums.
Damn straight TriGuy....you should've seen Gaines-vegas last night!

I almost called in sick to work to drive up there and party!

You should have. The cops did learn a little from what happened after the basketball championship, though. All of the light posts on University Ave were greased so people couldn't climb them again....didn't stop anyone from burning couches in the street again, though! Needless to say, today's workouts were a bit lethargic.

Hi guys.
I'll be doing IM Langkawi in February and was wondering which type of wheels woud be more suitable: light wheels or aero wheels? Deciding between Mavic Ksyrium SL or Zipp 404's. I'm shooting for a 6:00-6:30 bike ride, which is about an average speed of 17 - 19 mph. The course is fairly flat with only one climb of note. Traditionally it 's a course with light to moderate winds. Was wondering if an aero wheel would be of any advantage at that sort of speeds, or should I just try and minimise bike weight.
Cheers.
