GPS Phones?
Thanks Mike - but I was wondering if any Trifuelers have personal experience with this...
I am curious about this I have a Forerunner 305 and granted it works well I just wish I had a way for my wife to track and find me incase I get in trouble...

When you say "track" are you wanting to have another track you from a remote location or something to keep the data from your workout?

I'd be more interested in it as a way to keep data from my workout.

There are applications you can load to GPS enabled phones that I believe make this type of tracking possible. The one I am most familiar with is called Bones in Motion. iURL="http://bonesinmotion.com/corp/"]http://bonesinmotion.com/corp/[/URL]
My opinion is a dedicated GPS product is much better but can be costly.
From a GPS standpoint the more well known fitness devices on the market are the Garmin Forerunner and Edge.

I know the Garmin products very well and would be more than happy to discuss them with you more at length if you would like. There is so much to say about them that I will wait for your prompting to discuss them further.

I can definately put a good word in for the Forerunner series. I have had a 201 and a 305 Forerunner and I loved them both...

I've seen ads for a service that allows you to track your running/biking routes with a GPS cell phone. Have any of you tried this? Does it work well?
