Hello everyone: Has any of you heard of the organization called "Water for People"? In the video of Iron Man Wisconsin there was a segment called "Every day Hero" and they were featuring this Triathlete named Scott Shine. He did Iron Man for the first time running for "Team Hydrate". I was very moved by the report of how this organization works to bring water, information and resourses to places in the World where water is hard to get, teaching people about sanitation and how to better use this precious resourse.
I personally, have never heard of such an organization but I looked it up on the Internet and I got to their web site. I wrote a letter to the Executive Director, Mr. Steve Werner, telling him that I would be interested in learning how to help and he responded to me a few days ago.
I am just wondering if any of you have heard of this organization. I have never tryed to raise money for anything like this but to me, this is a very worthy cause.
