I was leafing through Hal Higdon's most recent marathon training book, and it cited in one of the injury chapters, that strength training has proven to eradicate scar tissue. Does anyone know if this is true? I've got some left in an old injury, and evey so often it acts up a bit.
Dude..I have injuries older than you! How can you have old injuries? ;)
Yes Higdon is right...it can or so I'VE been told. I have had injuries from the past especially my shoulders where there was some scarification and lost range of motion...it improved drasticlly (sp)
with a consistant lifting program.
Haha yea, you do have older injuries no doubt.
I've just been trying to complete get rid of this crap in my right lower quad. It never hurts when I work out, but sometimes it flares up for no apparent reason.
I think I've been softened though, and it really pisses me off. Oh well, gotta be smart.
