New Music & New Playlist
I'm a fan of metal when I'm on my trainer riding or on the treadmill. Something about the double bass and a sick guitar riff pushes me to keep pace with it.
What kind of music do you like to listen to? Maybe then we can give some suggestions.
"Broken" by Complete is good. Opening song for "What it Takes."
"I run because it always takes me where I want to go" -Dean Karnazes
how about "acid 8000" by fatboy slim it revs me up when im on a ride.
Dropkick Murphys
Metallica (I think master of puppets should be played before every race start:D )
Coheed and cambria
DJ Danger Mouse's Grey Album (its Jay-Zs lyrics mixed with music from the Beetle's white album)
Just some random stuff I pulled from my playlist. If your interested in the Grey Album, its free online if you have Bit Torrent. Interesting story behind it, can't buy it in stores though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_Album

I tend to listen to a wide range, but for those longer distances tend towards a lot of electronic music for the steady beats and long songs. In the past it was a lot of Miles Davis and Paul Oakenfold.

When I am riding on my bike(unless it is on trails) I don't do tunes.
When I am on my bike I usually watch a DVD.
Once in awhile I will ride my trainer with my iPod.
Running on trails or on a treadmill I'll listen to music as well.
My mix tends to be heavier music,
Metallica, AC/DC, and lately a lot of Rob Zombie/White Zombie.
Nothing to it, but to do it
my new favorite is the Reanimation album by Linkin Park
& 10,000 days by Tool
I can pretty much listen to those albums straight through and get more and more pumped with each song
